Having worked for Hertsmere Borough Council previously on a very similar project of garage refurbishments, we were invited again to tender for their most recent project.

Successful with our tender, we won the contract with Hertsmere, with their support we liaised with the current occupants of the garages in order to gain access and communicate the works to them.

The specification was to refurbish 18 garages, works included:

• Clear garages from tipped rubbish
• Removal of asbestos roofing and replace with anti condensation rib roofing sheets
• New garage doors, refurbishment to wooden frames
• Installation of 26m Aco Drive drainage
• Rebuild two garages with subsidence and screed floors
• Re-laid concrete slab
• Supply and fit upvc fascias and gutters
