Brief
A unique project, the client purchased a public house to convert to a private residence. The brief to FJ French was to manage the conversion process, carrying out all necessary works to ensure the smooth transition of the property from business to residence.

Solution
A highly bespoke project of this nature, required close consultation with the client throughout. FJ French worked in partnership with the property’s owner to ensure all requirements were exceeded. In addition, the architect’s plans were provided in another language, requiring translation and checking of measurements.

Works included:

• Removal of whole front of the building
• Construction of a new brick front with two bays and porch
• Stripping out the whole building
• Creation of cinema room in basement
• Installation of new kitchen and 2 bathrooms
• Walls, floors, ceiling
• External landscaping

The property has now been valued in excess of £1 million.
